Exciting news for Negril!![]()
The journey to develop the Negril roundabout began in 2022 with early discussions. Since then, we’ve built a strong partnership with TPDCo and engaged in multiple rounds of design, redesign, and consultation with the wider community to ensure we got it right. With procurement now complete, construction is officially underway — a major step achievement and move forward for the Negril, and Westmoreland Western! #believe
Every year for the past 4 years, during the State of the Constituency Debate, I’ve consistently advocate the Government of Jamaica to rehabilitate and reopen the Negril Beach Park.![]()

On May 27, 2025, that call was finally answered — Minister Matthew Samuda officially announced the start of construction! 🌴🏗️![]()

I remember visiting Baulk Health Centre when I was just 9 years old—and remarkably, it has remained almost unchanged since its construction nearly 50 years ago. As both a resident of this community and your Member of Parliament, I’m proud to be initiating and leading the long-overdue expansion of this vital facility. More to come
